The association “TAVI DRAUGI” has been granted the status of a public benefit organization.

Donated:

26624.00 EUR

PROJECT PURPOSE: To get the vehicles ready in working condition and to deliver them to the Ukrainian Army for use.

Already from the very first days of the war, the Association decided to support Ukraine in its fight against the aggressor, and almost immediately several departments were set up to provide different types of support to Ukraine.  Transport Department was one of them, ensuring the movement of cars and minibuses to and from Ukraine. Initially, humanitarian aid was taken to Ukraine, and refugees on the way back; a little later, buses and trucks were also transporting aid.
As a result of repeated requests for vehicles from the Ukrainian army, a team was set up to raise donations. As a result, Jeeps and other types of transport were purchased for the army. At first we managed the maintenance and preparation of the vehicles using other car repair services, but as the queues at the service stations were always long, a decision was taken to set up our own mini service station in our hangar. Now we ourselves can get the purchased and donated vehicles in working order and deliver them to the Ukrainian army.  This considerably saves the donated money and also gives us an opportunity to employ several experienced Ukrainian volunteers who are very enthusiastic participants in car maintenance processes.
