The event will take place at the association\u2019s charity shop, located at \u0122ertr\u016bdes Street 32, Riga.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In November, Tavi draugi continues the series of author evenings launched this autumn, introducing writers of various genres and their works, with all proceeds from book sales donated to charity projects supporting people in Ukraine and Latvia. The essays and stories of Latvian writer and screenwriter Elizabete Luk\u0161o-Ra\u017einska have been published in cultural media since 2014. She is one of the authors of the children\u2019s book series Em\u012b and R\u016b and has worked as a screenwriter on the film Postcard from Rome. Her first book for adults, Dirty Hair Day, was published this spring.<\/p>\n<p>During the author evening, Elizabete Luk\u0161o-Ra\u017einska will talk about how she began her writing career, the inclusion of autobiographical elements in literature, the main challenges she faces in the writing process, and what motivates her the most to write. Thanks to the support of Satori, the first visitors of the event will have the opportunity to receive the author\u2019s short story collection Dirty Hair Day in exchange for a donation.<\/p>\n<p>Admission to the author evening organized by Tavi draugi is free, but the number of seats is limited. Visitors are kindly asked to confirm their participation by filling out the registration form here: <a href=\"http:\/\/ej.uz\/autorvakars3\">https:\/\/ej.uz\/autorvakars3<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Tavi draugi charity shop serves as a platform for transforming material donations into financial support for various charity projects that help Ukrainians affected by war and Latvian residents in crisis situations. The shop offers clothing, shoes, and accessories for adults and children, tableware, books, various interior items and artworks, as well as Latvian and Ukrainian souvenirs. The charity shop also regularly hosts educational events and themed evenings to raise donations and strengthen community bonds.<\/p>\n<p>Members of the media are invited to attend the author evening on November 20.
